Privacy Policy — Amphorapp

1. Who we are

Amphorapp (“Amphorapp”, “we”) operates the digital platform at amphorapp.com and the native Amphorapp apps for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use label scanning, smart cellar, terroir maps, games, leagues, subscriptions and related features.

2. Data we collect

We may process the following categories:

• Account data: depending on the channel, we may collect email, password, date of birth (required on native app signup), and optionally name, WhatsApp, sex, ID document, address and other profile fields.
• Cellar data: bottles, positions, notes, photos, values, movement history and taste preferences.
• Label images: photos taken with the camera or chosen from the library for reading and identification.
• Payment data: paid subscription signup and renewal are exclusive to the official stores (Apple App Store / Google Play); the website does not sell or renew subscriptions. On iOS, payment is handled exclusively by Apple through In-App Purchase. On Android (current Google Play build), there are no in-app purchases via Google Play Billing. We do not process or store card data.
• Technical data: session logs, language, device, IP address and security logs.

3. Purposes

We use data to:

• Create and manage your account and authentication.
• Run the scanner, catalog labels and manage your smart cellar.
• Process subscriptions (when applicable to the channel), complimentary access periods and billing.
• Provide support, improve the service and meet legal obligations.
• Send operational account-related communications (we do not sell your contact list).

4. Camera, photos and device permissions

The iOS and Android apps may request camera and photo library access solely to read labels and attach images to your collection. You may deny permissions; image-dependent features will then be limited. We do not use the camera for advertising.

5. Legal bases

We process data based on contract performance, consent where applicable, legitimate interest in security and service improvement, and legal compliance (including LGPD for users in Brazil).

6. Third parties

We may share data only when necessary with:

• Apple, as the payment processor for iOS subscriptions via In-App Purchase.
• Google, only as needed to distribute the Android app on Google Play and related platform services (we do not sell data to advertisers).
• Hosting and database infrastructure providers.
• Image reading and wine data enrichment providers, strictly to deliver requested features.

We do not sell personal data to advertisers. We do not show third-party ads in the app.

7. Retention and security

We retain data while your account is active or as required for legal, tax or dispute purposes. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards against unauthorized access.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, portability and other rights under applicable law. You may delete your account in the app under Profile → Delete account, or email [email protected].

9. Minors

The service is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
